| | Well, I am officially a victim of home invasion. That's right, a week ago I came home from work to find my door kicked in, my place wrecked, and some things stolen. My cell phone was one of those things so sorry if you've tried to call me. They only really got small things (cell phone, credit cards I don't carry on me, some speakers and some movies). The most frustrating part was sitting in Nashville rush hour traffic (that would test anybody's patience anytime) trying to find a friend that was home so I can use their phone to cancel credit cards that were stolen. After I made all the immediate calls I needed to make I went to Walmart to get a cheap prepaid phone, brought it home (my door couldn't be fixed til the next day) and started to plug it in for the battery to charge and SURPRISE, there's no battery for the phone to work. Then the next day my computer crashed and I spent two days reinstalling software. Most, if not all, of you who read this are close friends who will forgive my rudeness when I say that the past week has felt like the world has used my scrotum as a speed bag. HOWEVER some things I need to remember: "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger" (it's true, but if somebody says it I'll punch them in the throat) "I have learned to be content in all things"-Paul' letter to the Phillipians (IN all things not FOR all things) "The Lord gives, the Lord takes away, blessed be the name of the Lord"-Job "I will remember the deeds of the Lord; yes, I will remember your miracles of long ago"-David's Psalm "I am with you always, even the the ends of the age"-Jesus |
